Terms, refunds, and receipts
You confirm you own or have rights to any text or images you submit, and you license Faith and Sawdust Co to burn that design onto wood for this order. The approved PNG is what will be burned. The maker does not send a photo of the finished piece before it ships. Refunds are only issued if the physical burn fails. There is no refund because you dislike the finished piece. Shipping is free and included in the listed price. No tracking number is provided. Delivery timing is an estimate, not a guarantee. Each custom order is priced separately — no multi-piece discounts or promo codes. There is no order-confirmation email. Status, messages, and your receipt live in this app. Questions go through in-app messages to the maker. No public address or phone is published.
What Faith and Sawdust Co is
Faith and Sawdust Co is a standalone custom wood-burning storefront (Faith and Sawdust Company). Pre-made pieces are sold on FaithandSawdustCo (Etsy). Custom orders are placed only here and are not connected to Etsy.
Your design and copyright
Before a design can be generated you must confirm that you own the copyright or have permission to use any prompt, name, likeness, logo, or uploaded image. You grant the maker a limited license to produce one physical wood burning from the approved PNG for this order. You retain ownership of your original artwork and prompt; the maker retains the physical piece until it ships to you.
Approvals, revisions, and extra tries
Each design starts with three free generation tries. Additional tries are sold in packs of ten for one dollar. Approving a design locks that PNG for the order. Later changes require a new order (reorder).
Price, shipping, and delivery
The price shown before payment is the full price for that single piece, including free shipping. There are no promo codes and no multi-piece discounts. Processing and shipping can take up to about two weeks (estimates, not guarantees). No tracking number is provided after ship.
Refunds
A refund is available only if the burn itself fails (for example the board splits or the burn is not usable) as determined by the maker. Preference, taste, or “I don’t like how it looks on the wood” is not a refund reason. There is no photo of the finished piece before shipping.
Communication and receipts
v1 does not send an order-confirmation email. Your in-app order page is the receipt and includes this legal summary. Message the maker only through the in-app thread on a paid order. Internet access is required to use Faith and Sawdust Co.
